"On our visit to Catania we had planned a trip with Unique Costiera to visit Mt. Etna and Taormina. Our driver met us at the dock exactly as arranged and was great. He was very personable, his driving was exceptional, he cheerfully answered the multitude of questions we asked, but more importantly he provided observations and details only someone with a love of his country could provide. Something much more than what we had expected. We docked at six ports on our trip but this was definitely the highlight of our vacation. "The Amalfi Coast tour we booked with you was the highlight of our 12 day Mediterranean Cruise. We compared notes with the others in our group who booked their Amalfi Coast tour with the cruise line and we received superior personalized service compared to their tour (and we saved some money too!) Your vans were very clean, comfortable and the air conditioning was perfect, even for the passengers in the back seats. Our friends on the cruise line tours were on bigger motorcoaches and they told us that they had to walk long distances while your smaller minivans were able to park very close to all of the sites. We enjoyed all of the sites you took us to and appreciated the fact that you allowed us many stops to take photos and were flexible in choosing places to go. My cousin especially appreciated your advice on places to shop for shoes for his wife. She loved them ! Your choice of a restaurant in Ravello was excellent and the views from there were magnificent. We will not hesitate to use your services again and wished the other tours we took in the other ports were as well planned and executed as yours. Your commentary and descriptions of the places we visited were not dry and dull as other tours we took (in Barcelona for one example). We can highly recommend your services to others. Fast, reliable, communication, great vehicles and flexible personalized service. The photos of the Amalfi coast are the best of the whole trip. "Unique Costiera organised a two day trip for my 10 year old son and myself in May of 2007. They spent time looking at alternative ways to spend the time and helped us decide our itinerary by giving us clear and helpful information. They were sensitive to our budget constraints yet managed to fit in all the major attractions and sites that we wanted to visit. We were given a breakdown of all costs and there were no hidden extras. Our guide, was wonderful. Warm and enthusiastic she brought the sites of Pompeii and Herculaneum alive with her knowledge and experience. Our satisfaction and enjoyment were clearly her main priority.
